Roll Alignment System

Adjusting Particle Size is easy with all adjustments located conveniently on the front of the machine. This allows for easy and accurate adjustment of the particle size. This patented innovation allows precision roll alignment in seconds, while eliminating the need to remove covers and belt guards

Each fine adjustment assembly contains machined parts that  are closely tolerance to fit together exactly. These close tolerances hold  the roll exactly where the operator places it and remains there for a  consistent grind 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This dial displays the position of each roll in the  machine. Each hatch moves the roll one thousandth of inch, giving the  operator extremely accurate adjustment.

 

Dual spring protection allows any  foreign material to pass through the rolls without damaging the machine. This  assembly is a bolt on component, which can be easily replaced; which allows  you to bring the machine back to new machine tolerances.

 

 


The Roll Grinding Drive

The photo to the right shows one side of a Patented RMS dual motor drive system. This superior drive system solves many of the all too common problemsRoller Mill associated with conventional double sided belt drives:

 

  • Eliminates all belt slippage:     Conventional double sided belt drives slip, stretch, generate excessive heat, and have a lower service factor. Therefore, maintenance issues and cost are much more frequent.
  • Eliminating all idlers:     Our three point drive does not need any idlers or tensioners. This eliminates moving components and makes the drive system simpler.
  • Allows for shorter roll shafts:     Double sided belts are not rated for as much horse power ; thus more belts and longer shafts are required. With our patented drive we have decreased the number of belts at least by half.

Grease banks allow operators to easily grease the machine without removing any covers.

 


Feed Roll

  • The feed-roll meters and evenly distributes the product into the grinding rolls. This feature can also start and stop the product flow into the machine; in the event of a power outage the feed roll will stop automatically and prevent the machine from backing up. Our unique design completely prevents any unwanted material from bypassing the feed-roll.
  • The feed roll can be slowed to a complete stop, thus shutting off the flow of product to the mill for end of the day shutdown.

Automated Feeder Option

Automated FeedRoll control panel :

  • Displays the motor amps of the main grinding motors
  • Start/stop button turns feed-roll on or off
  • Maintains operator inputted set-point regardless of the desired grind.
  • In the event of an over amperage condition the system will continue to slow down the feed roll until the amperage is once again at the preset value (full motor load).
  • In a plug up situation in which the over amperage condition cannot be corrected, the system will completely stop the feed roll and sound an alarm.

Benefits:

  • The set-point feature allows the machine to continually maintain full load amperage on the main grinding motors; thereby maximizing production ( tons per hour). Or it can allow you to maintain whatever amperage you set the main grinding motors too, thus decreasing how hard your motors work if full capacity is not needed.
  • Can work in conjunction with existing automation systems.

Roll wear sensor

Benefits:

  • This feature prevents product from flooding the top set of rolls, which causes accelerated roll wear
  • it also alerts the operator when it is time to have the rolls changed
