The Roll Grinding Drive

The photo to the right shows one side of a Patented RMS dual motor drive system. This superior drive system solves many of the all too common problemsRoller Mill associated with conventional double sided belt drives:

  • Eliminates all belt slippage:     Conventional double sided belt drives slip, stretch, generate excessive heat, and have a lower service factor; Therefore, maintenance issues and cost are much more frequent.
  • Eliminating all idlers:    Our three point drive does not need any idlers or tentioners. This eliminates moving components and makes the drive system simpler.
  • Allows for shorter roll shafts:     Double sided belts are not rated for as much horse power; thus more belts and longer shafts are required. With our patented drive we have decreased the number of belts at least by half.
