Mill Servicing

With well over 25 years in the particle size reduction industry, RMS has a reputation for completing  projects accurately every time. This means a better quality of  product and less downtime for our customers. We offer comprehensive service options including roll sharpening, roll exchange program, roll repair, roll balancing, shaft repair, and shaft replacement. In addition, RMS conveniently keeps an extensive stock of bearings, belts, rolls and other replacement parts on hand to fit an assortment of mill brands and sizes.

Roll Exchange Program:

• We will provide appropriately sized rolls for you as long as you own your mill.
  
• There is no need to have extra rolls lying around not making you any money.
  
• It does not matter what size, brand or model of mill you have.
  
• We come to your facility and change out your rolls.
  
•  If you prefer to change out your own rolls we also have the ability to deliver sharp rolls to your facility.
  
• Our service technicians will work around your production schedule.
• We can group you in with other customers in the area, to help reduce your costs.

How long between requesting a Roll Change from RMS will I have to wait for RMS to come to my facility? 

Depends on:

 1. If it is an emergency, we can be there immediately.

2. If it is not an emergency, we try to group you in with a trip with other customers in the same area. This will save you money, as you will be splitting the cost of travel expenses. We recommend calling in at least one month ahead of time to get a "grouped in" rate.

3. If you have a specific date in mind and you do not want to wait for group pricing, let us know. We work around your schedule!
